I think that Chester is pretty much a psycho – evident in his reaction to Heidi painting over his horrendous Hollywood graffiti surprise (who likes indoor graffiti anyway?). I can understand that he has associates that do graffiti and he probably paid them a hefty sum of money to mess up his apartment, but really, Chester, really? I give props to the-shell-of-a-woman-that-used-to-be-Heidi for painting over that hot ghetto mess.
I think that Chester has Histrionic Personality Disorder, here is some proof:
A pervasive pattern of excessive emotionality and attention seeking, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
SYMPTOMS
(1) is uncomfortable in situations in which he or she is not the center of attention (at Heidi’s Ranch – he gets out of the rental car clapping. Who does that?)
(2) interaction with others is often characterized by inappropriate sexually seductive or provocative behavior (Haven’t seen this really)
(3) displays rapidly shifting and shallow expression of emotions (Remember that crazy smile he gave Heidi when he is sitting there considering his messed up graffitti wall?)
(4) consistently uses physical appearance to draw attention to self (this is not specific to Chester, his whole little crew does this)
(5) has a style of speech that is excessively impressionistic and lacking in detail (When he describes Lauren at the dinner table, that was classic)
(6) shows self-dramatization, theatricality, and exaggerated expression of emotion (see #5)
(7) is suggestible, i.e., easily influenced by others or circumstances (He is basically Brody’s bitch)
(8) considers relationships to be more intimate than they actually are (I would marry her today! As Heidi’s parents look at him all weird)
WOW. I’ve really thought about this haven’t I? Maybe I’m a psycho.
